TO OUR COMMUNITY:
At Madewell, we’re perfectionists. In 2018, we expanded our size offerings, but we knew it was just the beginning. And because listening to and learning from our community is at the heart of everything we do, we paid close attention to your feedback—what we got right, what we could do better and how we could create a more inclusive shopping experience.
We’re excited to announce the relaunch of our Plus collection. With new and improved fits in sizes 14W–28W and 1X–4X (and more on the way), you can now find your future favorite pair of jeans (and everything you’ll wear with them).
So how did we improve those fits? First, we took notes. We’re so grateful for the thoughtful feedback we received from many of you and we can’t wait for you to see it reflected back in our new collection. We worked for over a year to get everything right, down to the last stitch—we told you we’re perfectionists—to ensure that each piece would feel as good as it looks.
We also wanted to make finding your fit a cinch, so we reset our size scale to better align with the industry standard (you can check out one of them here). Questions about which size is right for you? Our stylists are standing by to help, either by email at stylist@madewell.com or virtual chat. And as always, we offer free shipping and returns for Madewell Insiders (plus lots of other fun perks), so at-home try-ons couldn’t be easier.
For those who prefer shopping IRL, we get it. Currently, all Madewell stores carry a selection of Plus denim. You can also work with one of our stylists to request pieces to try on at your local store.
We’re proud of the work we’ve done, and of course none of this would be possible without you.
